At Bristol Elks Lodge 970, the handshake is real and the commitment to community runs deep. Chartered over a century ago, this Bucks County institution has spent generations doing the kind of work that quietly holds a town together: fundraising for local charities, supporting veterans, and opening its doors to anyone who wants to be part of something bigger than themselves. With a 4.7-star rating backed by 80 member and guest reviews, the reputation here is earned one event at a time.

The hall at 95 Wood St is a genuine gathering place. Rent it for a milestone birthday, a retirement party, a bridal shower, or a community banquet and you'll find a space that actually fits the occasion. Members rave that there's "not one bad thing" to say about the venue, and the balloon decoration service through Manders Balloons adds a professional finishing touch that turns a rented hall into a real celebration.

The Elks motto, "Elks Care, Elks Share," isn't decorative here. Lodge 970 runs charitable programs year-round, from youth initiatives to veteran support, and the members who show up to make it happen are, by most accounts, genuinely good people. That combination of purposeful service and an open, welcoming atmosphere is what keeps members coming back decade after decade.

What We Offer

Lodge 970 offers far more than a meeting room. The full hall rental is available for private events of almost any size, making it one of the more flexible event spaces in Bristol, PA. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering of 30 or a larger community celebration, the staff can walk you through layout options, catering coordination, and the popular balloon décor add-on.

Membership in the Elks opens up a separate world entirely. Members gain access to the lodge's social events, charity drives, community service programs, and the camaraderie of a national fraternal organization with deep local roots. The lodge also supports veterans' programs and youth scholarship initiatives, so joining means your dues actually go somewhere meaningful.

For event hosts, the rental process is straightforward and the space is well-maintained. Ask about availability early, especially for weekend dates, as the hall books steadily throughout the year. The lodge team is happy to discuss pricing, capacity, and any coordination details to make your event run smoothly.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
